Watch Out Broadway!!!!!!

The Color Factory!!!!

that kiddo knows her stuff

he's got some smooth moves

thats my boy!!!

So right before Spring Break both the kiddos had their plays at school. Mollie was the color "red" in the kindergarten performance of.......The Color Factory!! She was great! really has a ton of stage presence ( just like her Aunt Buddy) Watch out Broadway!!! We were so proud.
That afternoon Gabe's third grade class had their performance of The Granny Awards. Its about granny from the fairy tales stories receiving a lifetime acheivement award at the fairy tale awards show. Gabe played Prof (one of snow whites helpers) who was the MC for the ceremony. He was great and said all of his lines perfectly! We were so proud of them both. I dont know where they got it but they both have such outgoing personalites and stage presences. Neither of which I had at all at their ages. I am so excited to see what the future holds for them!!! Everyday is such a blessing.

Worst week Ever!!!

here is our house after the snow and ice hit.

mollie sledding

go Gabe!!!

GO STEELERS!!!!!

We were off school on Tuesday due to the snowy weather , Gabe had been sick and had passed it onto me . Chewy has been in the house for the last few days and was going stir crazy. We ( e, appa, poppa , i , and everyone else had been warning Mia not to mess with Chewy.) We had been outside playing in the snow and were hanging out inside when Chewy had enough of her messing with him. He bit her in the face on the mouth. We went to the hospital and the bleeding finally stopped they put in 5 stitches in her lip ( thankfully no damage to the muscle) and 1 in her head. She was so brave and so stong, I on the other crying big tears muttering it's ok baby, its ok baby.

Wednesday we moved in with mom and dad because we lost power from the ice storm. They were very gracious and we had alot of fun .Gabe got to be quite the expert sledding. There were lots of board games played Monopoly and memory were the favorites. We had lots to do and all got along really well. We celebrate the Steelers victory on Sunday and got a pleasant surprise on Monday , the power was back on so we packed up ( like we were moving) and headed home . The kids started back to school on Tuesday and we are slowly get back to the routine. Here are the various days we were outof school and at Appa and Popa's house.

Pretty In Pink.

silly head finally smiling.

my sweet girl

lots of bruises green, purple, and blue

still pretty swollen and bruising all around.

all done and ready to go.

So today we went to the ped. surgeon and got a good report after waiting over two hours, Dr. Jacks said it will need to be in a cast for three weeks. After the 3 weeks she will check it again and if it isn't healing correctly or causing problems with the growth plate we will talk surgery. We are certain that everything will be fine and her little hand has already begun healing. Mols was a great sport and very brave . I know she was in pain while they were wrapping it but she never cried. We are discussing all the cool things that can happen witha pretty pink cast. She is very excited at the prospect of everyone being able to sign her cast and getting to have alot of milkshakes.( everyone knows milkshakes make everything better) She is already doing LOTS with her right hand and her writing with her right hand looks better then mine. Thanks for all the love and prayers . we will keep you posted.

One Crazy Week!!!!!

still swollen 3 days latera pretty shade of blue

We have had one crazy week on Wednesday Mollie broke her hand , Gabe accidentally stepped on it when they were playing . She cried a while and then seemed fine and went to bed. Thursday morning I wake up to Mia vomiting on my back and all over the bed. She's crying and wakes Mollie who starts crying because her hand hurts. Her little hand looked like the michelan man's hand. ( oh by the way Eric was at work) Spent the day at the urgent care with both girls. Luckily Appa came and helped me with them. The doctor put a soft cast on it and we get to go to the pediatric ortho surgeon . We are just praying she just needs a hard cast. ( either in pink her fav. color or purple like her cousin). More to come after Monday.

Wow, I can't believe it is already 2009 , where in the world has the time gone?? We had a quiet time at home for the new years. We started back to school on the fifth and has actually taken about two weeks to get back in the routine. Gabe is back into full swing with scouts , he is busy getting his car ready for the pinewood derby. ( need your help with the dynamics uncle D) They both got their report cards and Gabe got all o's and an NI ( needs improvement) in social behavior talking ( i know big shocker!!!!) . Mollie got almost all o's too and has started reading ( very simple books) but really wants to learn and gets soooo excited. She has also started cheerleading and LOVES it! She gets to do it with her bff and loves to wave the pompoms and yell for the team. Mia has grown another half inch and is getting so big. Her hair (bangs) is finally growing out it is like an inch now, we are so excited about that it might look normal by summer.

Eric is enjoying his new job and we are actually seeing him which we all love. I am just busy taking care of this chaos . so far so good for 2009 gotta wait and see. here are some pics from this year so far , we got a tiny amount of snow and the kids were itching to get out and enjoy ,so after 20 minutes of getting them ready ( hats, gloves, scarves,etc..) I think they were out for a total of 8 minutes. All well . We are just making memories.

Good bye 2008!!!

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Eric sportin a new hat

Gabe discovered the Wii Santa had delivered. this expression is priceless.

its not a bday party without the conrads

can't believe my baby is ninegoing in to suit up for laser taggabe and his friends

ok so it has been way to long since I have posted an update. Mollie turned 6 and had a small lunch party ( just family and her bff's nick and caroline) . Gabe and mols have completed half of the school year already!!! It was a little rough at first but they have both adjusted very well and are actually learning all kinds of things. Christmas was great and kindof bittersweet the Roberts were unable to make it home this year and they were terribly missed. Santa brought all kind of treasures. Christmas day we went to mom-in-laws house and had a nice family dinner with them. On that Saturday Gabe turned nine and celebrated with a couple of his friends to play laser tag, they had a blast!!!!
We got to do alot of fun things over Christmas break and after a quick spell of everyone being sick we were rested and ready for a new year. May 2009 bring everyone good health and happiness and may God bless you this year and always.

Hope you enjoyed the random pics over the holiday!!!!!
